Days of our lives: Brandon Barash fired – Stefan DiMera left Monday! uptrends.live

Days of our Lives fan favorite Brandon Barash has revealed the shock of being fired from the Peacock soap. His character Stefan DiMera comes out on Monday, October 28. Barash confirmed Stefan’s departure next week – it looks like earlier this week his tenure on the soap is coming to an end.

He revealed that he was fired while in the middle of a contract. And it was the writers’ choice to delete it. Right after Barash filmed the bittersweet scene with actress Cherie Jimenez (Gabi Hernandez), he was informed about it. If you remember, it was following crazy Connie’s bomb plot.

Stefan brought Gabi flowers at the hospital. And they talked about saving their marriage. Brandon therefore felt good about his job. Then the Stefan actor said he was called into Janet Drucker’s office. And he knew what was going to happen.

Janet is an executive producer at Days of our Lives. He said the shooting shocked him and hurt his ego. But Barash said he’s also excited about the future and what lies ahead. And he thought the universe was telling him that Days of our Lives wasn’t where he was supposed to be.

Days of our Lives: Brandon Barash fired as Stefan DiMera – out Monday as kidnapping victim

Brandon Barash finished filming the role of Stefan DiMera the first week of March 2024. And although he was blindsided by his firing, he is happy that he got to spend most of his son’s first year with him because he had axes.

Similarly, Barash left General Hospital before the birth of his daughter. But he said it was his choice, whereas this situation with Days of our Lives wasn’t the case – they just fired him. Still, he is grateful for all the memories made at home with his family.

Barash’s daughter, Harper Rose, he shares with his ex-wife, General Hospital actress Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones). And his one-year-old son, Joaquin, whom he shares with his current wife Isa Barash. Just like the devoted father he is, Brandon says being a father is his most important role.

Brandon is sad to leave the storylines between Stefan, Gabi and EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel). And it felt like they were heading somewhere interesting on Days of our Lives. Cherie Jimemenz and Feuerriegel were unhappy with Barash’s sudden departure.

It seems unlikely that Brandon Barash will return to Days of our Lives. Partly because he says this is the second time he’s been fired from the soap mid-contract. Barash said that for him to return, the story and the contract would have to be “very, very right.”

He lost confidence in the team of the series. Brandon said that in business, like in marriage, there has to be trust. You need to know that when things get tough, they stick with you. He said that with a TV show like this, they didn’t know what to do with his character, but knew he had just had a child and just wrote him out.

He therefore no longer has this confidence in them. Since his firing, the writing team has changed and Ron Carlivati is no longer on Days of our Lives. But it is unclear whether Carlivati was the decision-maker for this dismissal or not.

Stefan DiMera’s departure began on Friday, October 25. That’s when a masked man drugged Stefan. He tore up his divorce papers after deciding to fight for Gabi. Stefan is drugged and left unconscious on the couch.

Then, on Monday, Stefan’s mother, Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel), stops Gabi at the mansion door. Vivian’s henchman, Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera), drugged her son on her orders. And the next week, Ivan pushes Stefan into the trunk of a car and he drives away. We’ll never see them again – unless they recast the role – or they can convince Brandon Barash to trust them again…
