National cricketers are unsure about the one-day Champions Trophy fee Up trends

National cricketers who will compete in the upcoming Champions One-Day Trophy are still not aware of their match fees.

The tournament begins in Faisalabad on Thursday, with the participation of top Pakistani players, but details regarding their salaries are still pending.

According to the details, players who have national central contracts will receive half the fees for local matches compared to international matches.

Previously, the one-day match fee was INR 644,620, which meant players earned INR 322,310 per match.

As a new agreement has not been reached with the players, they will receive the same fee as domestic cricketers for the Champions Trophy, which is played outside Pakistan’s domestic calendar.

Domestic cricketers get INR 60,000 per match in the Pakistan One-Day Cup, while non-playing members get INR 20,000.

Initially, it was reported that the five Champions Trophy coaches – Waqar Younis, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shoaib Malik, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Saqlain Mushtaq – would only participate during the tournament and would receive a salary of Rs 5 million.

The PCC has now secured a three-year deal with the guides, ensuring a monthly salary of Rs 5 million.

After the Champions Cup, these mentors will continue to support players in academies and supervise talent scouting camps.

As a result, mentors’ salaries exceed those of top cricketers such as Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan, who were previously paid Rs 4.5 million per month under their central contracts.
