Lahore: The Lahore Smart City Polo Championship continued in pink at Lahore Polo Club for the second day, with four more matches scheduled for Tuesday.
The matches attracted a large crowd of spectators, including families, along with Lahore Polo Club President Malik Azam Hayat Noon, members of the Executive Committee, Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Amer, and several former players.
In the first match of the day, FG/Din Polo defeated Lahore Smart City 10-7. For FG Den Polo, Raja Mikael Sami scored five goals, Mian Abbas Mukhtar and Rafi Sheikh scored two goals each, while Sahar Yaqubi added one goal. For the Lahore Smart City team, Agha Musa Ali Khan scored five goals, while Farooq Amin Sofi and Bilal Hai contributed one goal each.
In the second match, SQ Seagold defeated One Degree, winning 9-4. English player Charlotte Sweeney scored four goals for the winning team, while Azzam Hayat Noon and Taimur Moazzam added two goals each. Adil Rao scored twice for One Degree and the team also took advantage of a two-goal handicap.
Guard Group/Zacky Farms won the third game of the day, defeating Black Horse Paints 8-5. Shah Kublai Alam led the Guard Group/Zaki Farms team with an impressive six goals, while Taimur Ali Malik and Ahmed Bilal Riaz each scored one goal. For Black Horse Paints, Shah Shamil Alam scored three goals and Chaudhry Hassan Mansoor added two goals.
The fourth and final match of the day witnessed Platinum Homes defeating Diamond Paints with a score of 7-5. Bilal Noun scored three goals for Platinum Homes, while Lieutenant Colonel Omar Minhas and Emilia scored two goals each. For Diamond Paints, Raja Jalal Arslan scored four goals and Mir Shoaib Ahmed added one. On Wednesday (October 23, 2024), four more important matches will be held at the Lahore Polo Club.
