Pakistani bodybuilder Ramiz Ibrahim brought home the gold medal he won at the Mr. Universe 2024 competition organized by the World Fitness Federation in Las Vegas, USA.
It is worth noting that in addition to Pakistan, 44 other countries participated in this global event.
Other countries included Australia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Canada, Argentina, United Kingdom, USA, Philippines, Japan, Korea, China, India, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, New Zealand and Spain. Italy, Germany, France, Malta, Greece, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Muscat, Ireland, Netherlands, Egypt, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Brazil, Amsterdam, Armenia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
Besides winning the gold medal, he received a professional card in the men’s physique category.
Meanwhile, after receiving the medal, the bodybuilder published a post on his Instagram account, addressing those who doubted his ability to achieve such a major win.
Earlier, the bodybuilder expressed his happiness after being selected in the global competition.
talking to GeoSuper.tvRamez said that his entry into the international competition took a lot of effort. “I did not receive any support to register my name in this competition,” the bodybuilder lamented.
Ramez said with determination: “Thank God, I finally succeeded and now I am preparing myself to win another title for my country.”
In 2022, the Rams won three world titles in Thailand. He was the first Pakistani bodybuilder to achieve this feat.
“In 2022, I won three consecutive world titles for Pakistan. Despite being a world champion, I did not get any recognition in my country, which is very disappointing.”
“Don’t worry, I will continue to represent my country with pride. The upcoming competition is very important for me, and I am working hard for it,” he concluded.
